We have programs for all stages and ages, from newly diagnosed to later stages
MS can present with a wide range of symptoms, including fatigue, weakness, sensory changes, pain, spasticity, poor balance, reduced mobility, heat sensitivity, vestibular deficits, visual disturbances, bladder and bowel changes and reduced quality of life. This means an individualised approach with neurological experienced physiotherapists is paramount
Understanding and Managing Multiple Sclerosis
Multiple Sclerosis affects everyone differently, with symptoms that may include fatigue, muscle weakness, sensory changes, pain, spasticity, balance difficulties, limited mobility, sensitivity to heat, vestibular issues, visual disturbances, and bladder or bowel changes, all of which can significantly impact daily life. Because no two people experience MS the same way, a personalised approach guided by an experienced neurological physiotherapist is essential. When fatigue is part of your MS, the idea of exercise can feel overwhelming. The evidence, however, is clear: the right kind of movement makes a real difference. We will work alongside you to build an exercise approach tailored to your needs, helping you stay active without worsening fatigue, so you can feel confident, break through barriers, and get more out of life.
MS Maintenance group
Offered following the 6 week MSGHS program as an opportunity to maintain your gains and increase your exercise variety under supervision of an experienced Neuro Physiotherapist and alongside your peers.
Later Stage MS group
Our later stage MS program targets issues that arise more in the later stages of MS, including balance, mobility and cognitive decline.
Our specific ‘later stage MS group’ caters for those with more complex needs, working with someone on an individual basis to target their specific needs.
