Meet your OT

Emma

Emma was previously employed by the NSW State Government – The Department of Ageing, Disability and HomeCare prior to the rollout of the NDIS and privatisation of Disability Services in Australia. She held positions with The Benevolent Society and HealthNSW before embarking on offering services privately to better meet the needs of the Coffs Coast community.

Providing holistic and individualised services based upon the clients’ goals, Emma believes in providing timely continuity of care services for previous clients as their new needs arise. She feels privileged to work in a profession where she is able to provide Occupational Therapy services for clients who often do not have the ability to advocate for themselves, and enjoys the educational role to carers, support workers and service providers to enable those with disabilities to participate and enjoy life to its fullest capacity.

Emma is experienced and passionate about providing complex Occupational Therapy services (but not limited to) those with Physical Disability, Cerebral Palsy, Acquired/Traumatic Brain Injury, Spina Bifida, Intellectual Disability, Angelman Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Downs Syndrome, Epilepsy, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, Dementia, Lennox-Gestalt Syndrome, Muscular Dystrophy, Batten Disease, Costello Syndrome, and Sensory Processing Disorder.
